For the most part, I avoid reality TV. I watched a few shows back in the day, but have never watched any of “American Idol” and only an hour of the original season of “Survivor.”

I usually tend to go more for the “gotcha” kind of shows. I liked “Joe Millionaire,” really liked “Joe Schmo” and absolutely freaking loved “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance.” In fact, part of the reason I started watching “Grey’s Anatomy” was because Joe the bartender is played by Steven W. Bailey, the guy from “Fiance.”

I haven’t watched anything in a while though, until some friends started talking about “Big Brother 8” and I had some time on my hands one night when the show was on. Now, I’m hooked.

I need to go back and watch a lot of stuff from OnDemand, but I’m pretty tuned in. I just want that whining, crying Amber chick to shut the hell up.
