Looking for a Beating
Vegas stories coming later, I promise, but I had to share this one.
We had a stopover on the way home in Indy. After a long delay, they let people board for the trip to Baltimore. One dude got on the plane wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I pegged him at late 20s, early 30s. Had his stupid Bluetooth thing on and was loudly carrying on a conversation about some new product of his and how much work he had to do and how he had some special ordering software because a spreadsheet wasn’t enough to do what he needed to do.
After the flight, he ends up getting on the same shuttle I do. Dude had on white ankle socks and LIGHT BLUE CROCS! I almost laughed right then and there. I really, really wanted to say something, but chickened out. You can’t be tough Mr. Businessman when you’re wearing girl’s shoes.

October 12, 2007Does anyone actually wear those things? I got a pair for christmas but I haven’t put them on since then. I don’t really like oversized plastic clogs … I’m funny like that.
