Red Carpet
Well, the movie world is holding its breath for the Oscars tomorrow. Careers can rise and fall based on what happens at the event. And that’s just talking about the snarkiness on the red carpet, much less the actual awards.
I have something better to focus on. The Brians. Since 2003, I have given awards to the best performances from movies I have seen in the theater the previous year. Check out the history of the awards. The only exception was the 2006 awards because we hardly went to the movies that year so I expanded to include movies we rented or watched on cable.
The 2009 awards will be announced here later today. Minor awards will appear online tomorrow. The eligible movies from 2008 are:
