ITEOTWAWKI: Tour Plans
My hopes to catch R.E.M. again this year seem to be looking up. They have announced two North American shows and hint at more coming.
The band will play the New Orleans Voodoo Music Festival on October 26th after wrapping up their European/World Tour in Istanbul on October 4th. Here at HQ we wouldn’t be surprised if more dates were announced soon.
I had kind of hoped this since I read an interview with Peter Buck somewhere that he was going to be touring with the band through November. One of the new dates is in Mexico on Nov. 18. Perfect timing for a quick run of arenas and concert halls.
The good news is that they have added End of the World to their set list in Europe. I hope it stays on there if and when they come back to the U.S.
